The Basics: The V370D01 is a 4 channel Flybarless helicopter from Walkera. It is meant as a
beginner helicopter and is currently the largest Fixed Pitch Heli they make.
What I Like: The V370D01 has an all metal rotor head making it very durable. Combined with
the Flybarless design makes it very easy to set up and repair (easier then even the HoneyBee
FP V2). The included WK-2403 is a very nice first Tx.
What I Don't Like: The frame is the first thing I don't like, its an older style and where the tail
boom mounts to the frame is most likely area to break in a crash. The Brushed motors are the
next thing I don't like, they have a short life span, especially if you do alot of hovering (like
most beginners do). Adding heat sinks will help lengthen their life span but not by much, even
so they are cheap to replace and help keep the overall cost of the heli down.
My Conclusion: Overall I think the V370D01 is a good helicopter. Hovering indoors is very
easy and will give you experience of flying a single rotor heli. Outside its really not good at all,
mainly because it is soo light and has a low head speed resulting in sluggish handling.
