NightFlying with RC Helicopters
Nightflying is exactly what it sounds like. Its flying an RC Helicopter (or Plane) at night. To do this special equipment such as Lighted Blades, String Lights, and other lighting devices must be used so that you can still see your heli at night.
The first thing to invest in when thinking about trying some night flying is a quality set of night blades. Night blades have built in LED lights and create a "disc" once the blades start to spin. There are quite a few different Night Blades available, the ones you see in the video below are MS Composit CFC TAG night blades. You can program them to spell out messages when the blades are spinning.
Of course there are your basic night blades that just have LED's in them but they won't make cool patterns and spell words.

Only being able to see the blades of the heli isn't enough to allow you to fly at night, you will also need to add lights to the actual helicopter body itself. There are lots of ways to add additional lights to the frame and tail of your heli. The more visible you make your heli the easier it will be to fly at night. You can either build your own lighting system for your heli or just buy some night flying accesories like string lights, LED's, etc.
