The HK 500GT is one of a few 500 size RC Helicopter kits offered by HobbyKing and is
definitely of the best values. It is a clone of the Align T-Rex 500 so "most" parts will fit on this
heli. I found the 500GT to be a good kit overall, the main gear was warped (a problem shared
by most clones) and a few of the links weren't the best (got an Align link set from Ron's
HeliProz South). I plan on buying a HK 500CMT TT very soon, that version has a full carbon
fiber frame and has a Torque Tube driven Tail rotor. The 500GT has a metal frame and is also
available in TT.
