HK 250
Parts Needed to Build The Kit
The HK 250 is a kit, meaning it does not come
with any electronics. There are many choices
for electronic parts, so here are the basic parts
you will need.
Transmitter
I use the DX6i, a great
transmitter at a good
price.
Brushless Motor
Brushless ESC

Get at least a 15A ESC.
I will be using this
18-20A SuperSimple
ESC from Hobbycity
Head Holding Gyro

There are lots of HH
gyros available. A good
one will make life easier.
But it needs to be small.
(4) Micro Servos

I will be using these
Turnigy 9gE
servos.
from Hobby King
LiPo Battery

Here is a good battery,
the
Zippy 11.1V 800mAh
from Hobby King

HK T250
HK 250GT
I picked up the HK T250 because I couldn't resist trying it out. Its listed to be an exact clone of the T-Rex
250. And at a low price of only $30, I just had to see what it was like. When I got it I was really impressed
at how nice the kit was and how many parts were in fact metal (including the frame). Because this is a
cheap $ clone, expect there to be some small issues with the kit but you can't expect much for only $30. I
still like mine very much and intend on upgrading only a few parts. I want to keep my build cheap $.
