Parts Needed to Build The Kit

The EXI 500 is a kit, you will need to purchase all the electronics separately (including blades). But this will allow you to build this heli to suit your budget.

Transmitter
LiPo Battery
Brushless Motor
Brushless ESC 60-80A is recommended. I use an 80A on my 500.
Head Holding Gyro There are lots of HH gyros available. I use a Futaba GY401. Be sure to use a good tail servo with this gyro.

Receiver You want to use a Full Range Rx like the AR6200. Do Not use an AR6100/6110 on a heli this size.

Tail Servo You need a fast tail servo. So I use a Futaba 9257 Servo
(3) Mini Size Servos

The ESC I am using does not include a BEC so I will be using this seperate TURNIGY 5-7.5A (8~42v) HV UBEC

BEC
The EXI 500 uses a somewhat unique size servo. These Turnigy Servos work great in my 500.
